I love telling stories. I love helping people express themselves on camera. I love making things that are fun to watch just as much as I love making things that inform and inspire. I love producing.
I have worked in production since 2008. I began my career as a PA on documentaries and web series. I’ve worked as a script supervisor, an AD, a production coordinator, production manager, a director, and a producer. I’ve worked on commercials, music videos, VNRs, a feature, and a TV special.
Since 2016 I’ve been producing and directing digital and social videos for major media brands and freelance clients. I’ve worked in beauty, fashion, food, fitness, lifestyle, human interest, health, dating, junkets, how tos, vlogs, behind the scenes, explainers, man on the street, and more. I’ve worked with musicians, actors, drag queens, influencers, politicians, athletes, and “real” people. I can handle all aspects of production from end to end. I can brainstorm, ideate, pitch, script, budget, storyboard, hire and manage crew, cast talent, deal with vendors and locations, handle permits and releases, direct talent on set, oversee post, QC, liaise with clients and other stake holders, deliver, and publish.
I have a knack for making people feel comfortable on set and in front of the camera. I’m a natural interviewer and I can get people I’ve just met to open up to me on camera, but never in a way that makes them feel weird or regretful. I’m interested in what people have to say, and it’s my job to help them say it.
I always have a Plan B, C and D but I can also throw them all out at a moment’s notice and pivot entirely. I make things happen. I found the only pink VW Bug in all of California and got them to let us use it for free, I found a man who swallows billiard balls in the Isle of Wight and had him on a plane to New York within days. I got a videographer to Rio de Janeiro for a last minute shoot with Gigi Hadid in less than 24 hours. I got Greenwood Cemetery to let us shoot there for a small donation instead of their very high location fee. Whatever it is, I can make it happen.
